The Institute for Curriculum Services: National Resource Center for Accurate Jewish Content in Schools was launched in 2005 and is a special nonprofit national project of the Jewish Community Relations Council
of the San Francisco Bay Area and the Jewish Council for Public Affairs
. Supported by direct grants and donations, ICS is dedicated to promoting accurate and unbiased instructional materials about Jews, Judaism, and Israel. Its work impacts more than 50 million children in American public schools and the millions of others in private schools, who learn about Jews, Judaism, and Israel in social studies classes.
