Rita Maran, human rights and international law activist and lecturer at the University of California, will share her experiences lobbying the United States Congress on its participation with the ICC and discuss how the U.S. government's involvement with the court. Director Eric Stover of the Human Rights Center will discuss his experiences from the conference as moderator of the stocktaking exercise on victim and witness participation as well as present his work in exploring outreach strategies for international courts and war crimes tribunals.
