Holocaust Remembrance Ceremonies in the Bay Area

Yom HaShoah V’HaGevurah, "The Day of (Remembrance of) the Holocaust and the Heroism," is commemorated annually on the 27th of the month of Nisan, a week after the end of Passover on the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. It is a day of remembrance for the approximately six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. A variety of public observances will be held in recognition of this occasion throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
