Holocaust Remembrance Ceremonies in the Bay Area
Yom Hashoah Ve-Hagevurah, "The Day of (Remembrance of) the Holocaust and the Heroism," is marked annually on the 27th day in the month of Nisan, a week after the end of Passover. This year it falls on Monday, April 24. In recognition of this occasion, a variety of public observances will be held around that date throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
