Year of Civil Discourse
JCRC envisions an inclusive Jewish community where people from across the political spectrum can meaningfully discuss challenging topics, and inspire and empower one another, leading to a stronger and more vital Jewish community. The Year of Civil Discourse (YCD) Initiative is designed to elevate the level of discourse when discussing polarizing issues within our community. YCD provides Jewish community members, institutions, and leaders with the tools to have respectful, vibrant, engaging conversations about Israel and emerging controversial issues.
I feel blessed to partner with JCRC in the vital work that's being done to create an enduring Jewish community. Their leadership has enabled our rabbis and their congregations to…change the way people talk with and listen to each other. The impact of this effort is already being felt, and it will be long lasting.”
