JCRC Strategic Plan 2015-2018
JCRC is pleased to announce the availability of its bold, aspirational Strategic Plan for 2015-2018. This document represents more than a year of hard work by dozens of individuals committed to JCRC's future. With this plan, JCRC will meet the evolving needs of the organized Jewish community in the Bay Area, and enhance its advocacy and outreach efforts, redesign its operational structure, and ensure its technological and financial sustainability.
New Initiatives Include
The Assembly: Comprised of JCRC's constituent and at-large representatives, the Assembly is the deliberative body for consensus building on public policy matters. It was renamed from the "Council" and includes all members of the former Metropolitan and Regional Councils.
Town Halls: Town Halls will feature top experts on salient public affairs issues of Jewish concern, and participants will provide their views and reactions through live polling technology. All members of our constituent organizations and congregations are invited to attend and weigh in!
Workgroups: Focusing on civic engagement, public education, coalition-building, the new JCRC workgroups will increase our organizational capacity and amplify our impact. Action-oriented, these workgroups will include JCRC Assembly members and other Jewish community members with specific expertise and contacts. There will also be workgroups specifically dedicated to the Town Halls.
