In honor of Jewish American Heritage Month this May, JCRC Bay Area is pleased to share a set of ready-to-use classroom resources designed to make inclusion both meaningful and manageable. These materials consist of short, engaging “Do Now” or bell ringer activities that can be easily integrated into existing classroom routines: no additional planning required.

JAHM TK-1st Grade Activity

JAHM 2nd-4th Grade Activity

JAHM 5th-8th Grade Activity

JAHM High School Activity

Each activity introduces students to a Jewish American figure while building skills in reading, writing, and reflection. The resource is thoughtfully leveled by age group, allowing educators to quickly find developmentally appropriate content. Whether used daily throughout the month or occasionally, these activities offer a simple way to weave Jewish inclusion and representation into the school day during the month of May.

These materials build on the resources we shared last year (for teachers, administrators, and parents).

Together, they provide accessible tools for educators and multiple entry points for students to explore identity, creativity, leadership, and the diverse experiences of Jewish Americans.
