Guided by the principles of welcoming the stranger, pursuing justice, and building a more connected society, JCRC’s external affairs team cultivates long-term relationships with faith, ethnic, civic, nonprofit, and government partners throughout the Bay Area. We build collaborative initiatives, including our:

  • API-Jewish Roundtable
  • Hindu-Jewish Roundtable
  • Proud & Jewish contingent in the the SF and Silicon Valley Pride Parades

Together, we advance issues of shared concern, such as gun violence prevention, strengthening democracy, standing up for immigrants, and ensuring religious freedom. We amplify our impact by working with allies and, whether it’s by responding to acts of hate or supporting a community during moments of crisis, we show up for our partners.

We also create opportunities to learn from one another. Programs such as the API-Jewish Solidarity Trip to NYC, Holi Purim, interfaith educational programs, and community site visits, help leaders deepen their understanding of one another’s histories, traditions, and lived experiences, laying the foundation for even stronger partnerships.
