This Pride Month, JCRC Bay Area is proud to stand alongside LGBTQ+ Jews, allies, families, and partners as we celebrate the vibrant diversity of our community and recommit ourselves to the ongoing work of advancing safety and belonging for all.

Through our Proud & Jewish initiative, we bring together Jewish organizations, community leaders, and allies to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride, affirm that LGBTQ+ Jews belong fully in Jewish life, and stand in solidarity with the broader LGBTQ+ community.

Join us for two special opportunities to engage this Pride season: march with the largest Jewish contingent in the San Francisco Pride Parade and participate in a special webinar exploring Jewish resilience and LGBTQ+ equality.

SF Pride Parade Proud & Jewish Contingent

Sunday, June 28 | 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (approx.)

For a third year, JCRC Bay Area is organizing a float, music, and dancers for the Proud & Jewish contingent in the SF Pride Parade. This is a great opportunity for the Jewish community and allies to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride! 2026 is sure to see our biggest gathering yet of Jewish organizations, Jews, and allies.

Registration closes Wednesday, June 24. All ages and abilities are welcome. For security purposes, Proud & Jewish participants must pre-register. Safety and security are our top priority; we will be working closely with SF Pride and local law enforcement to ensure a safe and enjoyable parade for our contingent.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to info@jcrc.org. We look forward to marching with you in our biggest Pride celebration yet!

Pride Month Webinar: Jewish Resilience in the Fight for LGBTQ+ Equality

Wednesday, June 24 | 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Legislative attacks targeting transgender, intersex, and nonbinary people are increasing across the country. How can California’s Jewish community respond?

Both the Jewish and LGBTQ+ communities have long histories of resilience, resistance, and collective care in the face of discrimination. Drawing on lessons from the past can help us navigate this moment and build a more just and inclusive future.

Join Rabbi Eliana KayelleKeshet’s Bay Area Education and Training Manager, for a conversation about the current landscape facing LGBTQ+ communities and the role the Jewish community can play in advancing safety, belonging, and equality. Together, we’ll explore what history teaches us about meeting today’s challenges and how we can move forward with purpose and hope.
